This is the complete list of P-codes used to program the incubator's internal micro-controller.
| Code | Definition & Logic |
|---|---|
| P1 | Over Temperature Alarm: Alerts if temperature gets too high. |
| P2 | Emergency Fan: Turns on if temperature gets too high. (To increase circulation/decrease humidity, set P2 exactly 2 degrees below your target temp). |
| P3 | Temperature Setting: High/Target temperature limit. |
| P4 | Heater One: Low temperature threshold. (Should be set 3 degrees below temperature setting). |
| P5 | Heater Two: Backup heater threshold. (Must be set at least 2 degrees below P4/Heater One). |
| Code | Definition & Logic |
|---|---|
| P6 | Low Temperature Alarm: Alerts if temperature drops too low. |
| P7 | High Humidity Alarm: Alerts if humidity exceeds safe max level. |
| P8 | High Humidity Setting: Target maximum humidity level. |
| P9 | Low Humidity Setting: Target minimum humidity level. |
| PP | Low Humidity Alarm: Alerts if humidity drops to unsafe low level. |
Plug the humidifier directly into the incubator housing outlet. These specific values never change:
This is a suggested starting point and may vary slightly from litter to litter depending on many variables. Drop the values every few days as needed.
To determine if puppies are too hot, monitor their breathing rate, abdomen, and nares. If they pile on top of each other and seem stiff, they may be too cold. Puppies that sleep for short periods may be too warm, too cold, or hungry.
Instructions for pairing a standard medical oxygen concentrator with the incubator housing.
Do not add water to the concentrator's reservoir! The main incubator humidifier unit already provides 100% of the necessary environmental humidity.
